Before I go into asking, yes I know this will make it unbalanced and such, but since it's a moddable game, I would like to try that and have fun with it like I did with Skyrim. Does anyone know if it is possible though to have more than 4 people in your team? Thanks!

It's possible. I don't know how to script it though. In my own experimental mod, whenever I designated a new player, they were automatically included. So I ended up being able to control 7 players at once.

Huh, interesting, how do you do that?

I don't think one can edit the default main module and it's probably not advisable due to potential version mismatch issues (= gamebreakers) when playing online, but theoretically, you can "clone" the main module and add more players. Simply open the Root Template folder and search for Female Player or Male Player, whatever you prefer to add, then you drag and drop them into the level.
Players must be global, so you have to tick that tickbox in the Side Bar. Furthermore, you have to tick the Player tickbox too to make the game know that this character is a playable one. In fact, you can do that with as many characters as you please. The reason for the requirement of global = true in the settings of the actor (as I understand it) is that global seems to be a setting that allows characters to travel from one map to another. If they're not global, they are level-specific actors.

Character creation might not work properly and can be tricky with more than two though. I didn't look into it, but I think it requires some coding.
I think one has to add two more StartPoints to that map and name them appropriately such as add two more cameras. There was a thread on this forum for getting 4 character character creations working and it had some success in it (3 players were in the menu). I suggest you search for it and check it out, it should be fairly easy to find.

Alternatively, if one can't get it working, one could try to load another character creation menu right after the first one featuring the other two characters for example. Of course, one would have to have a second map to begin with, it most likely can't be the same since you need the other two players to edit and different character numbers.

Thanks for the response, I don't plan on doing this for the online section, only single player, so that should avoid the mismatch issues. Basically all I have to do (double checking what you said here sly0) is just follow what you said up to the end of the first paragraph? Do I have to add two more startpoints, or was just if I had wanted to do that for co-op?

EDIT: ALso if I do this, would i have to start a new game?
