Is there someway to respec your characters at some point? It would be a nice option if not. It seems really easy to gimp your characters during character creation.
Yes, later on you get the option. However it's not a very good option as you forget every skill you know in the process, which includes skills you cannot re obtain.
There's tons of threads on the subject. If you want to do it, it is best to plan doing so from the start of a game and install the mod that makes spell books reusable so you can retrain what you loose.
