even with the extra skill books making a hybrid is rather difficult and wont be as effective until very high levels. you need to be fully dedicated to your primary stat if you want to be able to hit anything with physical, or do any damage with a spell.
the attributes and skill points do not make you godlike anyhow. its the combinaton of things like weather the storm, resist gear, leech, and come back kid. those have nothing to do with the books for sale. then for godlike damage you can either be a 2hand MaA or a backstabber.
then again, with a little planning and 5 sneak you can pretty much remove enemy retaliation as well, so there is that too.
