" [color:"blue"] [/color] and i found meteorstrike to be extremely lame and not worth wasting a skill point for..."

One point? Hmmmm.

I used Meteorstike and Lightning almost exclusively until the endgame. Great combo. Then I switched to Elemental Strike and Spikes. Unbeatable combo.

I found wizard much easier than fighter. Trying survivor now. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mage.gif" alt="" />

Actually I have the reversed feeling: my fighter has blown away opposition far more easily than when I was playing my wizard.

How will I laugh tomorrow, when I can't even smile today...

played and beat the game with a sword/spec warrior with minor spell backup, the spells worked out rather nicely. Right now I'm plowing through it with a "ranger-esque" character. Concentrating on just the bow skills for now and shes pretty lethal. Of course I found a razor-sharp longbow early on, so i was doing up to 100+ damage before i even hit the bridge to Rivertown....

Split arrows is pretty nasty in the early game too because they do their own set damage regardless of the bow's base damage and you can time it so all 5 arrows hit one target. Becomes rather useless once the bow damage starts increasing. 30-40 damage at rank 1 per arrow, versus 35-135 pts per normal shot?

Live on the edge like me its fun, play in Hard mode and get the most out of the game. The computer gives it's best and you give yours. You wipe the smirk off the computer's face and you feel better after beating the game as compared in normal mode. Well thats my personal experience anyway.............all characters seem fun. I played halfway with the warrior, alittle bit with the wizard and just test the survivor. In my opinion, the wizard looks cool but both are hard to compare as the wizard is indirect fighter (mostly)and the warrior is a direct fighter. (mostly) Well thats what I think anyway...........

I love playing the survivor and stealing things. That said, being a survivor really isn't that great, because the sneak ability is useless in fights unless you want to be cheesy (hide and cast meteorstrike from the shadows). The only real reason why I play the survivor class is because it's the only one where the female voice and avatar that I really liked. I played the warrior for a while but found her voice to be... bleh. Anyway, ultimately, they're all pretty powerful, but the wizard has more of an advantage at the very beginning with meteorstrike.
