Do you mean literally "Hero 1", or the character's name? I tried both, but could not reproduce this.
Sorry, I mean't manually save the game with Hero 1 selected. Then do a quick save with hero 2 selected, and when you quick load it should load with hero 1 selected not hero 2.
My game seems to reproduce it perfectly.
