Dread, any CrashDump files should be included in the report.zip file generated by the D:OS support tool (for the PC version), along with system and game information, and your saved games.

Sounds good, I'm running it now.
It's ran, I'm assuming I have to email it on?

Yes, please email the zip to supportdos@larian.com, with a brief description and/or link to this topic.
BTW, if file size is an issue, you can delete any saves from the zip that are not relevant.

I cleaned out the dump files and generated a new fresh one.
As for saved files I don't really have many so they are all included.
*** I spoke too soon, I ended up deleting several of my saved except for a few and emailed them in.

I got mine to work, I ended up starting a completely new game. I did the "Save" and created a new save. I copied everything from my broken LevelCache directory to the newly created saved game. My characters weren't there, but it wasn't broken. I then copied the Globals.lsb file from my broken saved to my newly created save and it works. Looks like my chars are the right levels and they have all the equipment I would of expected.

So there's something goofy with the globals.lsb file after the patch that doesn't make it compatible anymore.

Actually, I guess that would mean my global.lsb file isn't the culprit since I took it from my bad saved directory to my new saved directory. It doesn't leave too many files left that I didn't touch.
The only file I didn't copy was the storylog.bin besides the graphic file. Now in the old directory I was missing some that were created with the new game. Meta.lsb and Sanity.lsb, maybe the lack of those files caused the issue?

Sorry for all the edits. I narrowed it down to either the Meta.lsb or Sanity.lsb file not being in the original saved directory that caused the issue. Once I copied those, my old saved worked.

Dread, i was trying to repeat your fix, no success. I created a new game with default characters - saved - transfer Meta.lsb and Sanity.lsb from a new save to the one of the old - tried to load - still 117. What i am doing wrong?

Coping LevelCashe and globals.lsb from the old save to the new one didn't do the trick either. Could you post like step by step guide of what you did to make your pre-patch saves work?

Please email supportdos@larian.com, with a description of the problem and the report.zip file generated by the D:OS support tool (for the PC version). The report will contain system and game information, any crash dumps, and your saved games. If file size is an issue, any saves not related to the problem can be deleted (so leave your most recent working save, if applicable, and at least a few of the ones giving that error).

What circumstances are you getting that error?

Have you tried starting a new game and save / loading, or are you only having a problem after a certain part of the game?

Is there any new info about this issue? When we can expect some fix or workaround? How can we be sure that if we will start new game and will save during the process our saves will not be corrupted once again with new update? Could you say at least what OS are affected?
Personally i have another PC with 64 Win 7 and installed Divinity and i am afraid to update the game there since i am not sure that my saves will be OK.
I would really appreciate any tech info from developers about the RCA and progress.

Still not fixed for me. I'm not getting any errors, the game simply goes blackish (probably some fade transition) when I click continue and shows the two progress bars, but they aren't moving and the game isn't responding. After I kill the game, it is still stuck in processes and is unkillable, while taking 400 MB RAM.

*UPDATE*: So I was generating a report with the D:OS tool and when I tried to extract it from the .zip to desktop folder it said that the cyclic redundancy check failed for my autosaves and quicksaves. That might be the reason why the saves don't load?
