Heya,

Really enjoying the game so far, but since yesterday there has been one thing that has been bugging me to death: Something in the game is making an extremely high-pitched chirping sound. My best guess is that it's the sound made by a piece of armor one of my characters is wearing as it only audible while I'm walking around, but I cannot be a 100% certain.

It kinda sounds like chainmail armor clinking while walking, but it's so extremely high-pitched it's almost inaudible. Because of that, it's akin to someone scraping their nails on a blackboard, or a knife scratching a dinner plate when applying too much force.

All in all it's a really minor issue, but I would very much like it if at the very least someone could confirm this is a real thing and not me losing my mind.

Thanks

Please email supportdos@larian.com, with a description of the problem and the report.zip file generated by the D:OS support tool (for the PC version). The report will contain system and game information, any crash dumps, and your saved games (you could delete all but the latest from the zip to reduce the file size).

In the options, have you tried setting the FX volume to zero, etc?

For the Steam version, did you try verifying local files? In the Steam library, right click on Divinity Original Sin and select Properties, switch to the Local Files tab and then click on the 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache...' button.

Have you tried headphones as well as speakers, to see if there is a difference? If so, an audio setting change might help.
