Glass Cannon, probably the best Talent in the Game, doubles your AP.
You can trade Talents for 10 Ability points / 2 Attribute points.
I have bought a book every level up after unlocking the Secret Vendor when you would typically unlock her (not like the lvl 4 sneak through the entire zone playthroughs).
There was no save scumming involved, but I had my special Lucky Charm (+ Survivors Karma later on) gear ready for all lvl 5+ chests.
The additional health + high resistance on the mage comes from lvl5 Man-at-Arms just for the Warrior Talents (Weather the Storm was +50% before the patch).
If these saves would be cheated, I would have given my ranger another +25% resistance vs all from the Ruby craft.
