Yeah, but we talk about people like OP, who are whining that without stealing everything you can't even buy any skillboks, because there is no other way to get money.

Here's the problem with poverty:

It doesn't just make the game harder, it makes it LESS FUN.

You can't afford to learn new skills, so expect the combat to get repetitive.
You can't afford to buy crafting ingredients, so you better hope you get lucky drops.
You can't afford to hire new followers, so you better hope Madora and Jahan fit into your party well.

I am all for having ramifications for being a goody two shoes, but currently it is TOO EASY to steal everything, TOO BENEFICIAL to do so, and there are NO RAMIFICATIONS for being a dickass thief. Your followers aren't phased by it, you don't need to worry about fencing stolen goods, and the penalties for getting caught are either a slap on the wrist (-20 opinion oh no) or so catastrophic that you just reload the quicksave you made 5 seconds ago (the mayor of the town attacks you).

When I am unable to use the skills that I have invested points in because I am not stealing stuff, I feel like the game is telling me "you are playing wrong".
