Are you trying with a character that has Loremaster?

The 'Show target info' option should be the third from the top in the Controls section of the options.

Did you try hitting the 'Default' button in Controls?

Try browsing to the '..\Documents\Larian Studios' folder and renaming the 'Divinity Original Sin' subfolder.
This folder contains the saved games, configuration files and a level cache folder. Deleting or renaming it will get the game to recreate it on startup; playing the game from a different Windows user account would effectively do the same thing.
After that, start the game, create a new profile and check the options. If that fixes it, just copy your saved games from the renamed folder into the savegames folder(s) of the newly created profile(s).

You could try a clean re-install of the game (uninstall, reboot, make sure there is noting left in the install folder, shut down all non-essential programs and re-install).
A few people had a problem with not being able to switch skill bars, and possibly not have the options to assign hotkeys for that in the Controls list; re-installing fixed the problem, when verifying local files did not identify any corrupt or missing files.

Before that, though, try downloading this zip and extracting it into your '..\SteamApps\common\Divinity - Original Sin' folder. It contains a small program called DVDsig and an md5 file created based on my install folder. If you run the program and click on Verify, it will check your install folder and compare it to mine; any differences (aside from DLC or anything system dependant) may help find the problem.

thanks , i will try that.

could i post the results here? or i can make a zip file of the txt and send to you? it seems Collector's edition & DLC apart these files are considered as "bad" :
Code
Dati non validi. Shipping\log.txt
Dati non validi. Shipping\log.xml
Dati non validi. Shipping\network.txt
Dati non validi. Shipping\story_merge_f.dat
Dati non validi. Shipping\story_merge_g.dat
Total:2151 OK:2066 Bad:5 Missing:80
Operazione completata. 2071 files, 9567MB, 100s

Sorry, I read your post before you edited it, and editing doesn't mark a topic as having unread posts.

The log and network files are system dependant, so are expected to be different. The story files I'm not sure about, but can not see how they would effect the Ctrl key. You could try moving them to a different folder and verifying files again to re-download them.

I have the same problem. Ctrl key isn't showing the information and I also have the skillbar hotkey bug. I tried to reinstall the game and also to verify after deleting the shipping folder, but nothing worked. And btw my options screens looks exactly like the one radament posted.

Please email supportdos@larian.com, with a description of the problem and the report.zip file generated by the D:OS support tool (for the PC version). The report will contain system and game information, any crash dumps, and your saved games (which are not relevant, so can be deleted from the zip to reduce file size).
