[Crafting 2] Buffalo Sabre = Buffalo Amulet + Old Sabre (Not verified since I don't have the necessary ingrediants yet)
I just made one yesterday. works fine. has a huge raw damage bonus (put it at +lrg) and a +1 to strength. don't know if it gets additional bonuses at very high levels. It can still be boosted by the blacksmith skill, which adds another huge boost at level 5 blacksmith skill.
you can find rare and legendary weapons that will outdo it for damage when combined with any base elemental bonuses they may have (both at same level), but for raw base slashing damage, nothing beats it in the one handed category.
it will be at whatever level you are when you craft it. components are random. found them in shops, and even in a haystack!
don't know if you can make more than one, but it seems likely. at level 10, it does 77-120 base damage, unboosted.
