While playing I noticed that a considerable amount of the items I keep on my mule character had disappeared from their inventory, and after sifting through old saves I found a point where where I'm certain at least some of the items disappeared.

When you go into the White Witch's Cave, right after I fought Vaelanna and talked to the puddle lady, I noticed some of my items were missing, but when I load my save immediately before the fight the items are still there. Possibly related, I cheesed the fight and skipped the dialogue with Vaelanna.


The only items I can say for certain that I lost were my essences, they were all gone.

EDIT: Confirmed that it happens during the event.
