Personalities and RPS
Every time you win at RPS you get a certain number of points. First person to 10 points wins.
The base number of points you get depends on your Charisma. Higher Charisma = more points per win.
This number is then modified by what choice you picked (Intimidate, Charm, Reason). One of the choices is 'wrong' and lowers your number. One of the choices is 'right' and increases it. One is neutral.
I can't personally verify, but I've been told that if you have a high enough Perception, the game tells you which choice is correct.
Star Stones
I don't think there's any wrong way to use them. You will find Blood Stones, which (when you use them) turn into inert stones. You NEED to use them in order to unlock more rooms.
Crafting
Crafting is super confusing in this game (I recommend just looking up a list of recipes). That said, it can also be VERY strong.
You can play without it, or you can play with it. It's worthwhile, but not necessary.
