One more thing about conversation choices though- am I right in taking from that, that whether you choose intimidate, reason or charm determines how many points you have to spend based on your charisma stat, with different options working for different npcs?... For example, trying to intimidate a strong NPC might give you 3 points to play with, meaning intimidation is much less likely to work, whereas trying to charm them would give you say, 8 points making it the better choice?...and it is different for each NPC?
That is actually pretty good if true, and a bit deeper than I realised.
To the best of my knowledge, yes. The 'correct' option depends on who you're talking to, and the context of the situation.
I personally wind up savescumming because I can't usually deduce which one is correct, but I think that is how it works.
So example: you get 2 points from beating your opponent in RPS, +2 more points from ranks in Charisma, but -1 point because you chose the wrong option. So every time you win you get 3 points. Meaning you have to win 4 times.
