Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems aura of command on deathknight

Whenever I summon a Deathknight (level 2), he uses his little red flashy lightning to kill the bad guys. As soon as I Aura of Command him (level 1) so he follows me around, he stops using it and just tries (pretty much in futility) to hack with his sword. Any ideas?

Is he much closer to enemies when he begins attacking? Does he ever use his magic attack when enemies are right next to him? I'm just curious to know if it might be a 'use best attack at x range from enemy' type of thing since I don't use summons that much <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />.

It happens no matter how far he is from them at any point. When he is following me around, runs right up to any new enemy and hacks away. I also tried not using aura of command on him and luring enemies near to him. He still uses the red stuff in that scenario. I would just lure them to the deathknight as a matter of course, but it takes sooo much longer. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
