After a bit of frustration trying to craft my own bows due to a low drop on sinew this game, i found a use for strong sinews.

Strong sinew + sinew = bowstring

Don't know if this was patched in later or what but if your low on sinew you can get some use from the strong sinew.

Strong sinew + strong sinew = bowstring

since the last patch.

Also I think Strong sinew + sinew = bowstring

Yes, and there is no difference in the end result - both bowstrings are the same.

I'm not a huge fan of the way crafting resources keep raising in price as the player gets higher in level. Stock up on the ~300 gold jewelery kits while you can!
