If you initiate dialogue successfully, and pass the charisma check, you get a sweet 36k xp!

Sweet, and then presumably you can still kill it for tons more XP....I mean it's still a menace that terrorizes the local population so the duty to exterminate remains....plus there's XP to be had....unless it decides to move out or something. Also screwing with the spider cultists is fun but probably better to just kill them because their stupidity is more of a danger to mankind than the void dragon and all evil combined.

yup. kill away. the idea with being able to charm the spider queen is that you might be in this area as early as level 11! in which case, she likely would mop the floor with you.

if you make it here at level 13 or higher, with decent gear and poison resists, then smash away.
