Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks cheating on the holy weapons

here guys just a word of warning about the holy weapons, when you get all three don't try and cheat like i did. i tried to make three of them all so that i would have all three after sacrificing two. it doesn't work, my first save before doing this wont load and my quick save i've lost both the sword and the dagger, and only have two amulates. i've had to start over again now <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" />

The save before you tried doing this should not have been affected.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

but he sais it wont load <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />
maybe he should try erasing some of the files in the run folder; what were they again??

That's why I was confused. Unless Odysseus was swapping files into or out of that folder, it should be fine.

I think you mean deleting all of the files in the '..\Divine Divinity\Run\Dynamic' folder.
This folder is used as a cache for the game. Files are created / copied there from the save game folder when you load, and written / copied from that folder when you save a game. The files will be re-created as required the next time you start Divinity. If there was a corrupt file in that folder, deleting the files should fix the problem.
