Tx, point taken. However, if you truly cannot find a hammer in those locations, then you have a seriously bugged saved game, and you SHOULD NOT continue. Seriously, if all the hammers are gone from your game, who knows what else is affected.
Try this, start a new game, and get your characters into Cyseal (the first town). It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes. Go to the forge behind the abandoned Blacksmith's house. If there is a hammer there, your other game is bugged.
If you happen to read what I said in the topic itself I found tons of hammers and not one repair hammer, but on this play through I found a ton of repair hammers, but no hammers. So I personally don't believe they aren't in the game, I just think the game is just being finicky is all.
I also never said ALL my hammers were gone, I said I haven't come across one yet. There are still a few things I can try
There is one place someone mentioned that I haven't been to yet (Something about a poison garden) so I'll see if it's there. I
I can also just keep seeing if I can get one from a chest or merchant by using the quicksave reload trick.
But let say there are no hammers in the game and it is bugged. Is continuing on without one really going to affect me being able to play? Is there some place I cannot progress in the game without one? If not, then does it really matter if I find one or not?
