The game is not being finicky.
If the hammers were not there, it's because the game is bugged. Not finicky. Bugged.
Can anyone prove that the hammers are supposed to be there? Where is the information that says these are set in stone.. Just because people have them there doesn't mean they're a permanent part of the game always there. And just because people have been playing this doesn't mean anything when it comes to this. Also working for a company doesn't mean you know how the developers programmed the game either.
If they didn't program it or have the schematics of the game then they have no business saying things are a fact they cannot possibly know that, and then use the excuse they've been playing the game to justify themselves. I also don't care how many people
all say the hammer is supposed to be there, no one has any actual proof. A bunch of people saying something isn't proof, that's just people agreeing...So to avoid any bullshit. I go by actual facts not a bunch of people in agreement. because if I wind up pulling a hammer out of somewhere then it proves the game isn't bugged.
I wait until there is verifiable proof there is a problem, right now there is no proof it's just people with a statement,
NOW TO BE VERY VERY CLEAR I'm not saying anyone is right or wrong, I'm simply saying what people use for justifying themselves about certain things isn't valid and hearsay is to be taken with a grain of salt until what they say has been proven. Which can only be done by a developer themselves saying so, or show the schematics for the game showing it. Anything else doesn't matter.
And if the game is bugged then you should stop, submit a bug report, and start a new game. If you still can't find a hammer in the new game before you fight the orcs, then contact Larian regarding your permanently bugged copy of the game.
Because I don't care enough to start the game over and I already stated 2 times that I don't care if I get a hammer if it doesn't affect me playing the game and I don't need one to progress then there is no point in starting over
Everyone else seems more bothered by this than me because I'm not even bothered by the fact I don't have a hammer.....I've made it this far without one so it's obviously not needed.
So again if I pull a hammer out of a chest or somewhere else, then that proves the game isn't bugged and why I don't listen to a bunch of people all in agreement saying something I make my own decisions based on what I personally go through not what a bunch of people are saying
