I always try to roleplay. I'm even one of the (few ?) who doesn't kill the mind-controlled soldiers in that camp. I had my reasons: I saw no point in killing them, like I see no point in killing the messenger who brings bad news. It simply wasn't their fault.

Apart from that, I have the feeling as if the "Roleplaying" as it is rather traditional, was reduced with the release of the Diablo-games : There is imho no "real" roleplaying like in a P&P group (except the "Knights of the Dinner Tables style <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> ) , only hacking and slashing, which seems to be another branch to me.

I don't define roleplaying as "Hack 'n' Slash" - but rather as Interaction.
