Even when you pump 15 points into charisma, you still can lose if you're unlucky.
The game should sort out these conversations by itself, first doing a check if the player chooses the right conversation line, add or reduct charisma points from that, and then take the person with the highest amount of charisma left as the winner.

This boring minigame brings no challenge or fun to the game. It's a nuisance.

Yes, you can skip it with space, but then the winner will be chosen at random. I didn't put 15 points in charisma for that.
