you can simply enchant them with Tenebrium and they will use the Tenebrium skill as well.
I have read conflicting reports about this, and finally just confirmed it right now that you're right. Would it be a bug or is it intentional? I mean, if it's the latter, then there's really no point in putting to the other weapon skills then.
