Sorry you have not gotten a response from support. Currently most of Larian is off on vacation (which were delayed when the game's release date was moved back, and again until after the patch) and will be back on Monday, so someone will be able to take a detailed look at your report then.


Could you please describe the white line when the game crashed?

Are you shutting down all non-essential programs before starting the game? As Elwyn said, anti-virus and firewall programs are common sources of conflicts and can cause crashing.

Did you try running the game as administrator? (right click on the '..\Divinity - Original Sin\Shipping\EoCApp.exe' program file to do so).

A couple people were able to fix startup crashes by replacing their My Documents D:OS folder, though that will only help if the problem is in creating those files and folders (Crash on startup [Solved]).

Did you verify local files for the game after switching languages?
