fights are fine as they are in DoS. The chance is well used in combats. That's what I wanted to say with :

In some RPG, chance is not fun when you have randomized dialogs that change the story without control, or if you can break your weapon when you try to upgrade it (hopefully it's not the case in DoS)... It's not fun because you really want to reload. But it's just my humble opinion smile

For now I never reload for an item drop/chest, but I reload sometimes for dialogs
