The spider from Summon Pet seems to have a reasonably high Perception - I summon one of those for finding traps as I lack the perception needed on my characters.
Yeah it was a weird thing but when you recall those Spiderman spider sense powers , it all made sense.
It's funny cause high PER means high crit and that makes it quite an effective companion throughout the game.
