My first experience with having a pet zombue follow me around was cool, but greatly lessened by the fact that he took exp away from me.

I am interested in summoning or ressurecting pets to distract monsters while I use Bow or Spells to fire at them. I am not playing a warrior, I need the extra help being a "challenged" Survivor class <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Will using summons end up costing me a level or 2 or 3, or are they exp friendly?
Id like to know before I spend the points. Thanks.

Playing a survivor, and having to work a lot harder at playing compared to warrior, has got me thinking. I think they should get an extra skill point now and then to make up for the power-gap. It would still be up to the player to spend these extra points on combat effective skills or not, so the challenge of playing a weaker class is still there if we want the bigger challenge.

When creature you summoned kill an enemy, you will get full exp (as normal).

But if summoned creature is under Aura Of Command spell, then you'll get only 1/2 exp.

You can always save the game before putting points into a skill to test, then re-load if you do not find it useful.
