Hey there. Just finished the game yestarday for the first time and it was an amazing experience. I am already planning on my starting my second playtrough. Was thinking of chaning things around, instead of going again with 2 main + 2 companions i decided to try out Lone Wolf ( on hard settings ).

Was thinking of something like this:

First char:

2H killing machine. Focuss on Man at Arms. Also gona put a few points in Geo for fortify, the summons and the bless spell. He is also gona be my crafter, so a few poitns in crafting + blacksmithing also. Willpower and bodybuilding are a must because if he gets knocked out of the fight it's gona be game over for me.

Still not decided if i should take glass canon on him later?

Second char:

Shadowblade. Gona use both daggers and the bow for special arrows mainly. She is also gona be focussed in witchcraft for the many buffs/debuffs and summons. I will take glass canon on this char most probably.

Any tips?

What difficulty? Do you plan on using Leech, crafting, sneak, seller of secrets every level?

Hard difficulty? I plan on using leech on my 2h warrior, crafting also. Sneak on shadowblade.

Seller of secrets glitch has been fixed, and even if it wasn't i don't like using glitches to make the game easier...

Go for a badass run: Hard Mode + 2x Lone Wolf + 2x Glass Canon + no abusing seller of secrets (you're allowed to get one of each book for each character).

Or you can go go the King of Badassery run, you can add: No crafting (or ONLY crafting), No stealing run together with all of the above.

If you wanna go for the Badassiest run you should use all of the above plus you can only use items you find.

When you have Leech + Comback Kid, you can't be killed by physical attacks (unless you are standing on a elemental surface that does not allow you to bleed), so you don't need Fortify.
Crafting allows you to enchant your Gear with enough essences to boost your resistance vs all to > 100%.
The opponents won't attack you if they can't see you so moving a few steps away and entering sneak mode (only 1 AP) means that they will just ignore your char.

Lone Wolf is awesome for Glass Cannon chars on hard: Hard reduces your base health to 75% on regular chars, 25% on GC chars and 95% on LW GC chars, almost tripling your HP.
If you want to invest a bit heavier into one element and int (something like 8+3 with gear) you can cast the elemental shields which effectively double your HP.

I know about Leech + Comeback kid but i don't want to abuse that, it would ruin all the fun. What's the fun in knowing that you can't lose whatever you do smile.

What level of crafting do you need to be, in order to do it? Also, can you use 2 essences on the same piece of armor, or do you need to use only 1 essence per armor piece?

You need Crafting 2-5 depending on what type of equipment you want to enchant. You can only use 1 essence of the same type, but use all 5 different essences. The resistance bonus seems to scale with the level of the equipment you are enchanting.
