One choice increases your chance of winning.
One choice decreases your chance of winning.
The last choice is neutral.

You can sometimes figure it out by thinking about who you're talking to, and the circumstances of the conversation.
Otherwise, if your Perception is high enough then the game tells you which choice is which.
