Larian Studios Forums Dragon Commander Dragon Commander - Technical Problems Saving and Loading issue

My game has all of a sudden developed a very annoying problem. It will not not let me load any save file apart from the most recent one and additionally it won't let me save over any existing file. It forces me to create a new save.

Anybody have an idea what has gone wrong, or how to fix it? Should I make a copy of the save files and do a fresh installation perhaps?

Is this for D:OS?

You could try renaming the '..\Documents\Larian Studios' folder for the game, start the game to recreate it (adjust settings), exit and copy your latest save from the renamed folder to the newly created savegames folder.

So rename which folder exactly? I deleted the game from steam and reinstalled it, but the problem still persists. I have no idea what has caused this. I have a long list of about 15 saves and if for example I click to load on one near the bottom of the list, it just shoots right up to the top one. I have tried the game on my laptop via steam and it still works fine.
