I've just completely deleted the game again as after the first delete, the Larian folder with all the saves and cache was still there which may have been the problem. If this doesn't work, I don't know what will. Could the problem causing this be inside one the save files itself?
Also on the main screen when I click on the icons like load and options, they flicker as if the cursor is scrolling through them all very quickly.
