I've noticed a few times there is a red triangle on the bottom right of a skill/spell in the action bar, but i can stil use that skill/spell....what does it mean??

Can you still use the skill even moving where you were pointing?
When previewing your move destination, as you run out of action points the farther away your cursor is, any skill you can not use after moving will have the red triangle. I don't know if it takes things like elemental affinity into consideration, though.

I can be wrong, but what I have noticed, is that the skills with the red triangle will use all your AP for that turn... So I think it is the game telling you that if you use that skills, you will have no more AP for that round.

Hovering the mouse over one skill slot may display the red triangle on other skills that you wouldn't have the AP left for if you use that skill.

For clarification;

The red triangle is to show you which skills you CANNOT use anymore after doing the action you're about to plan (move, cast a skill).

On the AP bar (the circles) you can see exactly how many AP you would use, and how much would be left by the green ones being the amount your action will use up, and the reds the amount remaining.

All to assist you to use the best of your turn (mostly with moving).
