Drain Willpower + anything with 150% Shock is a guaranteed way to disable the dragon.
After that deal with the resistances through Nullify Resistance / Soultap and boost your attack damage Oath of Destruction / Rage and its Armor (Silver Arrow).
Just tried it again:
T1 ranger delays turn
Dragon summons stuff and attacks Araste
Mage uses Drain Willpower and Lightning (and maybe a buff)
Araste gets attacked down to 50% health
Ranger charms 2 summons and maybe a a buff/ Silver Arrow
T2 ranger delays turn
void summons attack eatchother
mage uses Soultap on the dragon
+ Deathpunch and another small spell
Ranger shoots the Dragon down to around 2000 health using the regular attack
T3
ranger deals the last points of damage
Thats a 3 turn kill without preparations.
