Hi,
is there an official information that destroying boxes with firebolts/arrows change the drop? Or am i free to open them that way?

Not entirely sure but I don't think so. Every time I destroyed a chest I got the usual three to five items so it always seemed fine.

IIRC a destroyed container won't produce a "Lucky Find!" from the Lucky Charm skill. The normal drops are the same though.

I would of smashed every box if I knew Lucky Find only found up to magic(blue) items versus gear swapping, lockpicking etc..

Smashing can still produce lucky finds... I know this from fireballing a room and still getting the 'lucky find' over my character from the boxes...
