OK, got the quest from the Merchant Guild boss to find proof that the shady merchant is illegal. Also got the quest from the merchant who lost his stuff. Found the stuff, told the merchant, that quest solved.
Where the heck is the proof? I went back to the guild (after cleaning all the sewage and all the lizard guts off <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> ), but he acts like I still need to get proof - and the quest is still active.
