I am putting in a video card that my friend gave me (cause mine is a standard factory piece.........). It is a radeon PCI 7000 (I think) 32mb card. I have heard people say that this game is not radeon friendly, will this card cause more problems than good?

Come on it's free, what am i supposed to say.............no? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

The configuration program doesn't like Radeon cards (or possibly some driver revisions), but if you skip the test the game itself works fine.

is there a way i should set up the config to use this card, instead of using the test to allow the comp to set the config up for me? ie: what settings do i use for the config, 3d, directdraw ect....

Whatever settings you have now should still work. Unless you have problems, I think Direct 3D is the 'best' rendering method. Software / Direct Draw can be a little slower, but in some cases avoid problems / glitches (in the council hall and with cut scenes) that some people have run into using Direct 3D.

After you run the configuration program and make any changes, you can select the 'Skip Test' box, then click on 'Test', then on 'Apply and Close'.
