Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks picking up stuff?

I have accumulated a lot of scorpion traps, but when i go to pick them up it is too heavy for me. How do i manage to only pick up 5, instead of the whole thing? I tried to use Ctrl and drag it into my inventory, but it didn't work. any answer on this one?

so there is no way to split something that is being picked up, only put down?

EDIT: Drag the stack into a chest, then split it up into stacks small enough to drag into your inventory. You can split stacks from a container into your inventory or another container, but not from the ground to a container or your inventory.
