Star Stones can do it, right? I only have inert ones! How do I make them functional? Is it the "Blood of a lesser being for a greater being" needed here? Do I kill some bunny and do something to restore the Star Stone?

Inert Stone doesn't do anything. It's, um, inert.

For everyone else in Rivellon, the formula is "Star Stone + blood = Blood Stone." However, you're some kind of funky magic, so whenever you get near Star Stone, you absorb its magic and it becomes Inert Stone. Which means you can't make Blood Stones.

The good news is that you can still find Blood Stones in the world, carry them, and use them. When someone uses a Blood Stone, it becomes Star Stone, which for everyone but you means they can reuse it by making it Blood Stone again. For you, it's a Star Stone for all of a second, then it becomes Inert Stone.

Both Star Stone and Blood Stone will cure the Rot if you're afflicted. The difference is that Blood Stone is use-on-demand, while you have no choice but to use Star Stones as soon as you encounter them.

Wow... this blows.... Where is the closest one to where I am at? I am about to fight The Guardian with a ton of HP in a Snowy place, White Witch quest.

You can only heal rot with the blood stones you find in the world.

Your party can learn how to handle tenebrium so that they don't get the rot if you...

...do Brandon's quest in Silverglen. You can also use the "how to handle tenebrium" skill book found in sacred stone, but only on one party member.

There's one in Hiberhiem prison, and the king of Hiberhiem has one in his treasure vault.

And no, Star Stone heals Rot too. Much to Loic's dismay.
