I'm playing a no-magic party (madora, dagger guy, 1h+shield guy, bow guy) and it's pretty funny how much utility the party has, especially the archer. If I want to bother, I can usually knockdown/stun/charm the entire enemy army on the first turn. Or just let madora kill everything.
