Larian, first of all, thanks for developing Divinity Original Sin!
I hope that you have rested enough in those vacations that you guys took after release.
The game strong points from my point of view are the following:
1. INNOVATION (thanks).
2. Dialog/story.
3. Turn based combat.
4. Music.
5. Exploration/Beautiful Environments.
6. The modding tool.
7. Co-op.
8. Spells/Environment.
The not so good / bad:
1. Character customization (At first impression it seems thought in depth, but then you realize it is lackluster):
- RNG itemization may be good for grinding games; it just damages D:OS.
- Some useless abilities (PP, LP, CHA...)
- Pure classes are much better than going mid-ground.
- Talents - Either useless or overpowered; very few are fine.
- Some useless and overpowered spells.
2. Difficulty (should rather be called Simplicity):
- AI needs to be improved a lot.
- You cannot base the difficulty levels on HP and Damage in a turn based game.
3. Tenebrium (enough said).
Anyway, thanks for the game! Though, I would not recommend it for hardcore (and not so hardcore) players.
