You're better off drinking your own pee. Or even someone elses.
er, Fosters, McEwans' lager, bud light (any light beer) and a really awful one I tried from a local liquor store over here-3 stooges beer. I think they just took bottles of coors and stuck different labels on them.

Yeah, I think the McEwans' lager WAS good but has gone 'off' a bit. McEwans do loads of good beers though. McEwans's export, best scotch, 80'(shilling), 90', and more. (maybe, but at least 4 good beers)
I like the new Fosters' commercials on TV now though....

The scotch was mostly known. There was a time everybody was drinking scotch. It's often like that... For a while everyone was drinking sezoens, than duvel, than hoegaarden, ... I always stuck to what I like, trying different things.

There was always some Fosters on tap when I was growing up. It seems to have lost a lot of popularity now though. Stella is still quite popular in the UK.... Evil beer.

For a long time ppl said you got a headache the next day... Later they said the beer had changed and you don't get no headache anymore. LoL. Typical pub story if you ask me.
That reminds me. Viper, you remember that period of "cool beers"? What was it? Maes Cool (?) and all those others. Passed rather quickly too, eh.
In England something like that could never be popular.

Any of you know Peroni and Nastro Azzuro? (Who said Italians dunno how to brew beer? )
Birra Peroni has been taken over by SABMiller. (the USA - South-African group) I hope they don't change Nastro Azzuro.

Depends where you go. In London a cold 'pint of fizzy' is just the thing. In more 'civilised' areas however we prefer our drinks to have some taste....

I've had Nastro before. We just called it 'nasty'...

-It was a temp. thing Womble. In Flanders (and everywhere ) they always had their beers cooler than in England. So not just cool. They ment almost frozen. And most of them ware in cans. Maes was for sure... I don't really remember the other ones... it didn't last long. A lot of comercials and stuff. But ppl just didn't cared I guess.
-Peroni is popular in Italy. Kinda like jupiler in Flanders or bud or so in the USA. Your every day pint. You know? And Nastro Azzuro is their "special beer". Really expensive in a lot of places. They really see it as a classy/luxery beer. Hard to find in Europe, outside Italy. And it is something... special. Don't you think?
