Ran the analysis tool and sent the report in to support per your suggestion.
Just to let you know, we tried the single-player thing and it still had the problem. Dismissing the hires and with just the two main characters we had the one that was still "in combat" flee (successfully) and the other character then could teleport or walk to them, but as soon as they get close to the character that fled, that character goes back into "combat" mode (even with no mobs around.)
We always end up with one character in combat while the other is out. You can't fight the mobs to kill them because as soon as it's the turn of the character that is "out" of combat, combat gets stuck. And we can never leave the zone (to see if that would fix anything) because one or the other character is always in combat, no matter where we go in the zone. It's like one character's combat flag always gets flipped the wrong way. (But which character it is varies on who is in the party, etc.)
Open to any other suggestion while waiting for support to get back to us. We've been having a blast with the game.
