One of the biggest strengths of the game is the lack of handholding. Arrows pointing you to the solutions for every quest would make the game pitifully easy (and it's already a pretty easy game even on hard in my opinion). Sure, it's hard to find things sometimes, but a lot of the time you just gotta use your noggin. If you really don't feel like searching all over the place for a particular quest, just look up the solution for that quest. I bet most people have looked up a few answers to some of the harder quests (I certainly have), but you should definitely try to figure out most things on your own first.

But to sort of answer you question, it might be possible. Not sure if there is a way to send a flag to Osiris (the scripting tool) when you select a particular journal entry. If there is, it would probably be pretty easy to set markers on the map, at least as secrets. I believe the biggest problem is that someone would have to go in and manually input the location of every update for every quest. That wouldn't take forever, but I think most modders are trying to improve the game and usually make it more challenging or at least more dynamic, not waste time dumbing it down.

Sorry, but I don't think your request is going to be well received. Maybe someone will sympathize. I do think the journal could be a hair more detailed for certain quests, but I'm personally not going to spend time clarifying those things.
