I love the fact that this game doesn't hold your hand and tell you everything... go here, go there, kill this, get that, blah blah blah...
The layout leaves a little to be desired, but the quest notes are good. Just enough to make you have to think about what to do next, but no so much that you're just running around doing what you're told.
The only exception to that seemed to be the notes at the beginning when solving the murder. I've seen a lot of people complain about the notes being a little too vague. I didn't have a problem really, but I can see where a lot of people would, especially when they aren't used to a game like this where you have to actually figure stuff out. They should have eased people into it a bit more.
