I wanted to use Caramon and Raistlin, the Majere twins from the Dragonlance books. But since you can't make a thin male mage in the game it wouldn't work out.
Ended up just using Eric and Raven, for no apparent reason.

For real, though, on my first playthrough I went with default names. Each playthrough after that I had themes. So for one I was roleplaying 2 ninjas, so I named them Mitsu and Kona. One I was roleplaying JFK as a hypercharismatic telepathical knight, so I named my main dude Johnny. Currently, I'm roleplaying some germanic medieval mercenaries, so they're named Willem and Friedrick.
my last run I went for Nox and Scarlett. Nox is THE name for all my RPG male PCs, I like the look and sound of it:) and Scarlett is really a nice name, and I stuck to it.
next run...if Larian comes up with new companions, I'd go for Fyodor and Liriel, hopefully a warrior and wizard couple:)
