Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems Problem with Dragon Armor Quest

I have the breastplate and the dragon heart.

1. I have the quest from the Dwarf King for the armor
2. Conversation options with Grischa appear including (I have found some...)
3. I appear to not be able to get Grischa to craft the Armor piece.

I've tried:
1. Having Grischa identify the breastplate (but it's already known)
2. Dropping and picking up the breastplate and the heart
3. Trading the items to him (together and one at a time)

Seems busted.

Did you talk to the king again, and maybe Sir Patrick, and then return to Grisha and go through all his dialogue options?

If your inventory is particularly cluttered you could try clearing it out a bit. Usually, though, if people have a problem with this quest it is Sir Patrick that doesn't bring up the required dialog option, but repeatedly talking to him, Grisha and the king a few times generally gets it to trigger.

I'll give that a go (talk to Patrick and the King again)...

I'm glad Larian got better in the later games with this stuff (I mean bugs happen but jeez)
