I have all the GOG patches downloaded so the question is how do we get them to you?

That ain't the problem if you would please re-read my post.
The problem is that when I tried to install the latest hotfix the GOG downloader gave me an error message saying to install the hotfix I needed to also download and install the latest GOG installer...a wopping great 8gig of it.
Anyway, I've had enough of this topic both here and in the GOG forum. I tried to warn people to be aware, that's all.
With all the hate I am getting directed to me, not here but in the GOG forum I give up.
I'm far too old and have much more pressing real life issues to deal with, rather than worry about what I thought was a simple grievance about a pc game.
edit: I just got to read the last couple of posts and can only say thank you for your help guys. I hope it is useful information for others.
As for me I contacted my isp...got a one off deal for extra bandwidth this month and downloaded the latest GOG installer and finally got my game updated with the latest patch.
If this sort of confusing mess happens again I can assure you that I will either:
1. Give up playing and play one of my many unfinished games, or
2. Buy the Steam version.
