While re-downloading the new full GOG installer I started fiddling with the .130 patcher. My installation consisted of an early version installer with a patch to .74, then a patch to .107. I received the same incorrect version error the first time I tried to patch to 130. I traced it down and saw that the installer looked up a BUILD value in the windows registry. I launched regedit.exe from the run dialog to edit the registry. Narrowed down to this registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\GOG.com\Games\1207664923\BUILD

The build value was set to 11 when according to the .107 patch installer it should have been 14. So I changed it to 14 and the newest patcher installed without a problem. I think the .107 patcher didn't update the build version for some reason.

The long string of numbers near the end seems to be randomly created at install time so it will probably be different for each person. But you will see other keys inside there that will identify it as used by divinity.

This worked for me. I was able to reconnect to my ongoing multiplayer game with friends. Hopefully it will work for others.
