Hey, I'm doing the same thing!

Bought the game a couple weeks ago, then stopped playing once I found out that I had assembled my whole party after 2 hours. When I read the Steam description:
Quote
"Gather your party and get ready for a new, back-to-the-roots RPG adventure! Discuss your decisions with companions..."

Since this was a top-billed feature, I had somehow expected there to be more to it -- similar to Baldur's Gate, perhaps. Since I've never encountered a cRPG with so little choice in one's party, I was taken totally by surprise and decided to wait for more content to be implemented.

I don't want to feel forced into teaming up with (what see as) rather flat characters like Madora, yet neither would I want to sortie out with Generic_Henchman #1 and Generic_Henchman #2 to quietly obey orders.

Yes, there's a level of impatience to it -- who isn't eager for new content in a game they like? -- but it's not the kind of blind, "at any cost" impatience that some here like to characterize. I'm sure that, like you, I'll just be mildly disappointed with each passing update, and then glad when those companions finally arrive.

Completley agreed its easy for those not as eager for new companions to dismiss those who want them asap as impatient children, as the game is advertised even on release I was expecting more then two companions so at least thought releasing new companions would be larians top priority although to be fair the recent update did address some major issues which was good but doesnt stop me and many others be increasingly dissapointed.

I just got around it by playing two Lone Wolves. Hadn't tried that yet anyway. Though to be honest I haven't noticed a difference in the PC's.

For anyone in a situation like that, there are a couple of Save Editors where you could go in a fix builds if you rather do that then start over.

They did mention a scalable UI, so it seems something is brewing.

There will be 2 companions added; AFAIK they should level up if needed when you hire them. Brazuca took a look at some of the game files (here) and found mention of Frank the Archer and Alfred the Fighter.

Raze,

they fixed the Homestead bug in these last patches? The bug with doors not opening at Homestead.

I sent you my savegame, but it couldnt be fixed.

I hope they fix it soon, so I can play again.
