Is there any crafting combinations to make sinew? Seems alot harder to find than the other weapon mats.

It does seem hard to find. In my latest game I found only two in 12 levels and I check every vendor. Not good for someone who was planning to craft bows. I think major savescumming is the only answer, unfortunately.

Yeah you can save before you kill a bunch of boars, etc., then reload if you don't get some.

Strong sinew works as well, for bowstrings.

Strong sinew works as well, for bowstrings. so the latest patch fixes this. good, coz at higher level we can only get strong sinew.

Boar, cows, bulls and deer I think?
If you check the treasuretable.txt and ctrl+f 'sinew', those are the four loot tables that contain it.
